Founded in 1894 as a saw blade factory, the company has developed during the course of its 120 year old existence, into a modern, efficient and flexible service center in the field of broaching technology. In 1928, August Berghaus produced broaching tool for the first time, since 1972, the production has shifted entirely to broaching tools. To meet the growing demand for precision, constant quality and reproducibility, we have been manufacturing CNC-controlled since 1983. Due to a steady expansion and modernization of the machine park, today our products pass through a state of the art, powerful and, largely CAM-/CNC- controlled manufacturing: starting with the design of the broaching tools by using modern and innovative software, and ending with the final functional parameter check of each broaching tool. These quality standards, according to ISO-9001:2008 / VDA6 Part 4 have been confirmed by regular audits since 1997.
